Selected October Wind piano pieces can be heard on Whisperings: Solo Piano Radio, and now on many radio stations across the U.S. and abroad!

My solo piano works are often played on Whisperings: Solo Piano Radio. Since 2008 I have played many collaborative concerts with other Whisperings artists including David Nevue, David Rhys-Johnson, Mathew Tavis Johnson, Louis Landon, Neil Patton, David Lanz, Joe Bongiorno, Joseph Akins, Micah Page, and Isadar. Please see my home page for upcoming concert announcements.

I'm available to play beautiful, romantic, relaxing background solo piano music for private parties and special occasions, in a variety of styles including light classical, light rock, pop, Broadway, movie themes, etc. To inquire about rates and availability, send me an e-mail: raoswald@aol.com.

For three years I was the music director for the Tango Center in Eugene. The Tango Center is now closed, but I am still available to play for milongas, either as a solo pianist or in small ensembles, with a repertoire of golden age tangos or modern alternative music. My tango music collaborators include Craig Einhorn (guitar), Carlos Zapien (voice), Ricardo Cárdenas (guitar), Mark Schneider (bass), Tyler Abbott (bass), Joe Powers (harmonica and voice), John Polese (trumpet and accordion), Laurie Goren (violin), and Heather Holmquest (voice). To inquire about rates and availability, send me an e-mail: raoswald@aol.com.

My own Argentine tango-inspired arrangement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, entitled Claro de Luna (the "Moonlight Sonata" Tango), is now available on iTunes. It's strong, passionate, and seductive! If you like it, please tell your friends! Pianists, the sheet music is available on my Lulu page.
