Rebecca Oswald - upcoming events

On Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 3 p.m. at the Downtown branch of the Eugene Public Library in Eugene, Oregon, the Arrieu Wind Quintet will present four narrated stories in imaginative musical settings: Prokofiev's popular Peter and the Wolf, the Pied Piper of Hamelin with an original score by Mike Curtis, five stories from Aesop's Fables composed by Rebecca Oswald, and the Children's Book Suite (The Story of Ping, Babar the Elephant, and Curious George) again by Mike Curtis. Arrieu's members are Jill Pauls on flute, Annalisa Morton on oboe, Carol Robe on clarinet, Mike Hettwer on horn, and Mike Curtis on bassoon. Guest narrators are Wes Young and Rebecca Oswald.
